Clinic schedule

I hold a weekly private clinic every Thursday afternoon at GenesisCare Maidstone and occasional Saturday morning clinics at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

Ad hoc appointments may be available on request.

To provide sufficient time for a thorough consultation and to answer questions,

• New patient consultations are scheduled for one hour
• Follow-up appointments are booked for 30 minutes

Private medical treatment

The costs of private medical care are usually borne by insurance companies.

It is important to keep your insurance company informed about planned consultations, treatment, scans or procedures. If you are concerned about your level of private medical cover please seek authorisation from your insurance company beforehand.

I am recognised by all major private medical insurers (including BUPA, AXA PPP, Aviva, Vitality Health, Cigna, Healix, Simply Health, Exeter Friendly and WPA).

Oncology treatment can be very expensive. Patients should consider this before requesting a quote for self-funding.

Fees

Fees for consultations and for the supervision of chemotherapy and radiotherapy do not include the cost of drugs, tests, nursing time or hospital charges. These are usually settled between your private medical insurance company (or yourself) and the hospital directly.

All fees charged by me are within the range agreed by medical insurers.
